About the Opportunity

As the Project Coordinator for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of the Landing Craft Heavy project. Working closely with the Deputy Project Manager, you will organise project activities, monitor timelines, and maintain crucial documentation to ensure successful project outcomes.

What’s Involved

• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and reports, ensuring timelines are tracked and key milestones are delivered on time.
• Apply project tools and processes to ensure plans, registers, and documentation are up to date and are fully compliant with project standards.
• Support resource and financial tracking across the project, including monitoring budgets, flagging risks early, and assisting with procurement and invoicing processes.
• Help build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships by supporting communications, coordinating meetings, and keeping teams aligned.

You’ll Need 

• 1 year Project Management experience.
• Degree or Trade Qualification in relevant field.
• Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance.
• Project Management Qualifications (desirable).
• Project Management certification through a professional Project Management Body (desirable).
• Prior experience in a project coordination or support role (desirable).
